1954: Alcatraz announced

Daedalic Entertainment and Irresponsible Games today announced 1954: Alcatraz, a new adventure game for PC.

Set across the backdrop of 1950's San Francisco, players take on the role of Joe and try to break out of the infamous prison.

The game is set to feature: 90 hand-painted environments, over 20 characters, puzzles and dialogue by Gene Mocsy (of Pirates of Vooju Island fame), a non-linear plot and multiple endings.

The game is set for release sometime later in the year, expect a more precise date soon.
