If you're playing video game football these days, you basically have two options - the FIFA series and Pro Evolution Soccer. The Italian developer The Fox Software has had some success with their title Active Soccer 2 DX for smartphones and on Steam Greenlight, and now they have annouced that it will also be released on Xbox One.
The title resembles older arcade games, but also takes inspiration from Kick Off 2 and Sensible Soccer (both of which are in the process of being reimagined for a modern audience). It has plenty of options, teams and might will be a cheap and fun alternative for those looking for a fun party take on the sport, or who just want to play casually.
There are still no pictures or a release date for the Xbox One version, but below you can see how Active Soccer 2 DX looks on PC.
