Tactical RPG Acaratus launches via Steam Early Access

A turn-based tactical RPG named Acaratus is to launch today via Steam Early Access. It is currently in development by a Swedish indie developer named Nodbrim Interactive, and features randomized maps, customisable battle suits and collectible cards.

The game is a fusion of Medieval and Steampunk aesthetics, and allows players to build and customise their own 'Battle Suit' and take it into battle in a strategic environment. It also features a wide array of weaponry, both close and long ranged, and will feature a multiplayer versus mode. The developers secured funding when it won Sweden's Game Concept Challenge for indie developers.

"Winning the Game Concept Challenge to make Acaratus a reality means so much to us as a team," said Martin Kupski, Nodbrim's Creative Director. "We'll continue to listen to what our steadily growing community wants in order to give them the truly unique strategy experience they deserve".

Acaratus is available to pick up today on Steam Early Access.
