Farming Simulator devs confirm mods for PS4

Giants Software agrees deal to gets mods onto Sony's console.

They have apparently managed to secure what Bethesda couldn't, "they" being the developers behind Farming Simulator 17. On Twitter Giants Software and Focus Home Interactive are proudly stating that their game will arrive with the inclusion of mods for both Xbox One and Playstation 4:

"Just to confirm: #FarmingSimulator17 mod support on both #XboxOne AND #PS4 will be available when the game comes out."

It's an obvious wink in the direction of Bethesda, as they have not been able to broker a deal with Sony for Skyrim and Fallout 4 mods on the PS4, but nonetheless it's good news for digital console farmers with wide imaginations.

Farming Simulator 17 is out on October 25th, for the usual trio of formats.
