We don't claim to know more about farming than the simple fact that you reap what you sow, but if the upcoming Farming Simulator 17 is to be believed, you'll need powerful machinery to do both. In a new trailer from developer Giants Software and publisher Focus Home Interactive, we get a sneak peek at the stock of more than 250 agricultural equipment stored in the garage when the game launches on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 25.

The press release also mentions the possibility to customise some of the vehichles, but it's limited:

"Some of the vehicles and equipment can be customized: engines, wheels and other pieces and accessories can be replaced to adapt to specific activities, such as equipping a front loader to handle bales, for example. You can also change the color of some of your vehicles so that you're always driving around in style."

The icing on the cake is still that you can listen to the in-game radio stations while working. Maybe you'll want something more specific? Then you can tune in to your favourite web station or your MP3 files by connecting them to the game's radio. Another neat feature is that mod support will extend to console in this year's edition.

Anyway, here's the trailer. Are you up for some virtual farming?
