There was a major earthquake in New Zealand during the weekend and one of the victims caught in all of this was a livestreaming World of Warcraft player, a guy called Delrio Sierra.

But being caught in an earthquake clearly isn't enough to stop multiplayer online trolls, and on the video you can hear his teammates screaming "No-one cares if you live or die" while he falls off the chair due to all the shaking. When he rushes off to check on his girlfriend, one player can be heard screaming: "It's a f***ing two on the Richter scale, c***. You're crying like my f***ing sister. Shut the f*** up."

The earthquake was a 7.8 and eventually a few players do offer some sympathy, but this proves how rough it actually can be online and serves as a reminder that being a little bit nicer online might be a good idea. It's not big and it's not clever, after all. Did you watch it unfold?
