Konami has launched a new patch for Super Bomberman R on Nintendo Switch. The new patch (1.2) is focused on fixing some issues players have had with the online multiplayer, most notably on latency issues and improved controls.
Furthermore you can now select Room Type when you host an online game, choosing Room Number only players who know the number can join allowing for a private match. Full patch notes can be found here.
They also promise further updates to improve the online multiplayer in the future. Super Bomberman R was released alongside Switch on March 3 and has thus been in the wild for two weeks.
