Shots fired.

Official social media channels for games often tend to play it safe when it comes to posts, commenting on things like pre-orders and all the usual stuff you'd expect, but now and then there are posts that surprise us, as is the case with a deleted tweet from the official Twitter of Detroit: Become Human, which you can see below.

The tweet reads: "When you wake up and #DetroitBecomeHuman is still a PS4 owner and you're still an @Xbox owner. #ThursdayThoughts", with an accompanying gif from the game with the text "Face Dilemmas".

Shots fired indeed, but it seems as if those who run the Twitter account quickly threw a wobbly, going back on the tweet and deleting it shortly after. This didn't stop people from seeing it, however, and produced reactions labelling the joke immature and childish, rather than witty banter.

Well, that backfired then. Do you think games companies should keep things clean, or is a bit of playful joking something you'd like to see more of?

"It's a fascinating game with a strong setting, a decent story, and some stellar performances."
