As reported by SegmentNext, Square Enix is being relatively quiet when it comes to Nier: Automata on the PC, as the publisher has seemingly stopped supporting the game and has not released any patches or updates as of late.

On top of that, there also doesn't seem to be any plans to update it in the future, despite a number of technical problems with the PC version of the game. What's extra surprising about all this, though, is that there's over 450,000 players according to SteamSpy, so there's no shortage of players at least.

In brighter news, one issue at least should be fixed as, according to this update, "the latest Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-Edition-17.5.2 update should resolve an issue that some [players] have been experiencing in Nier: Automata where the screen can go blank or white, along with some other issues such as random hangs or game crashes after short periods of gameplay."
