Pokémon Go gets its first legendary Pokémon

Earlier this week, we learned that Niantic planned to unleash the first legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Go if the visitors of the Pokémon Go Fest managed to defeat one of them this weekend. Well, we have good news and bad news. The bad news is that the event didn't go very well at all, as the game suffered from severe technical difficulties. The good news is that the developer wants to apologise for this by compensating the visitors and implementing the legendary Pokémon into the game anyway.

This means that you might come across special legendary Raids over the weekend, and the beast you'll get to face off against is none other than Lugia. We won't have to wait long for the second legendary either, as Articuno is coming to the game "soon".
