One of the most common complaints about For Honor is that the game often has connectivity issues, but that might be about to change, as Ubisoft has announced that they're planning to implement several improvements to the game, including dedicated servers, which is a very interesting choice, as the studio claimed that dedicated servers wouldn't fix the issues a few months ago.

Right now, the game is using a special kind of online system because Ubisoft thinks that a usual traditional peer-to-peer system would lead to the hosts having an advantage. Hopefully, the change over to dedicated servers means that the studio has found a way to avoid this unbalance, so that the outcome of a duel only depends on pure skill.

This isn't the only change coming either, as we're also told to expect improved matchmaking and stability. Those of you who want gameplay-changes might be pleased as well, as the press release states other changes includes ranked matches for 4v4, alterations to the fighting-system that will make attacking less risky and defending less safe, and a new tutorial and training arena for more advanced players. All of this comes on top of the expected new fighters, maps, weapons and more, and you can see the planned roadmap yourself below.
