As of today all fans of Ni no Kuni can pre-order Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, and Bandai Namco has also unveiled the different editions for the game, ranging from standard to King's Edition, each containing progressively more content for players to enjoy.

The Standard Edition comes with the full game and postcards, but the next highest one after that is the Prince's Edition, with the full game, a blu-ray copy of The Kingsmakers: A Making of Ni no Kuni II, a steelbook case, and the season pass. A slightly cheaper version of this, called the Digital Prince's Edition, is also available if you want just the full game and season pass digitally.

The King's Edition is the grandest version, though, and provides the same documentary on blu-ray as well as the full game, a vinyl record of the soundtrack (featuring Joe Hisaishi's main theme in its pop-up gatefold), the Evolution of a King diorama figure, a 20cm-tall rotting music box with the game's main theme, a 148-page artbook, an exclusive steelbook case, and a season pass.

All of the above is applicable to PlayStation 4, and PC gets slightly different offers. The Standard Edition, for instance, is digital-only and grants access to the full game, and the Prince's Edition is also digital only, and adds the season pass. The King's Edition is slightly smaller but isn't digital, providing the full game, the vinyl, the diorama, artbook, steelbook, and season pass.

A special sword set of 5 will also be available for free to those who pre-order, and if you're wondering whether or not the season pass specifically is worth it, you should know you can purchase it separately and that it will feature two lots of additional content.

Is the King's Edition tempting you?
