Gwent is getting a story campaign

Today CD Project Red has unveiled a single-player campaign for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, and in Thronebreaker (as it's called) we get to know Meve, "a war-veteran queen of two Northern Realms," as explained in the video description. "Facing an imminent invasion, she is forced to once again enter the warpath, and sets out on a dark journey of destruction and revenge."

The actual card game mechanics will be widened in order to match emotional story quests, and apart from that Thronebreaker will lead us through the well-known Witcher world, make us collect materials, and of course let us play cards.
