In the latest issue of Famitsu magazine (via Nintendo Everything), new details on Fire Emblem Warriors have been revealed, along with a new screenshot gallery that you can look at below.
In particular, the Famitsu article speaks about the so-called Pair Up system, a gameplay mechanic introduced for the first time in Fire Emblem Awakening with which you can make a combined attack with your ally when they're near you on the battleground. In the case of Warriors, a character is positioned ahead while the other is behind them, and at this stage, Dual Attack Gauge and Dual Guard Gauge indicators will appear, where the first one breaks down the enemy defences, while the latter counter-attacks the opponents.
Fire Emblem Warriors will be available on October 20 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS, and the gallery below should keep you going while you wait. Does this Pair Up system sound good?
