Pokemon Go may not be as popular as it was when it launched last summer, but it's still proving to be successful around the world. Legendary Pokemon have recently landed in raids, with the second generation legendary dogs arriving less than a week ago.
In an interview with Bloomberg, CEO for The Pokemon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, explained that the game currently has just a fraction of what Niantic are planning to implement over time.
"We've only accomplished ten percent of what Pokémon and Niantic are trying to do," Ishihara explained. "Going forward we will have to include fundamental Pokémon experiences such as Pokémon trading and peer-to-peer battles, and other possibilities. We've only covered 140 Pokemon so far. With more than 800 figures, there's still much more we can come up with."
Gen III was recently discovered by dataminers in the code too, meaning new beasts may be closer than we first thought. Have you nearly completed your Pokedex, or are you still a way off? Let us know in the comments.
