During Gamescom, we had an opportunity to talk to Job J Stauffer, head of creative communication at Telltale Games about their many projects including the second season of The Wolf Among Us.

"Having announced The Wolf Among Us second season for next year, a lot of people have been asking 'why did it take so long?'. What's interesting about The Wolf Among Us is that we were in development with that all throughout the release of The Walking Dead the first season. And we had gone to the table with that series so many times and just never quite gotten it right behind closed doors and at a certain point, The Wolf Among Us almost felt like a comedy, only it wasn't actually very funny. We got to the point in the summer of 2013 where we nearly cancelled Wolf Among Us."

"We weren't sure if anyone was going to like it and it took, sort of, the final two months leading up to the premiere of rallying with the time and really kind of finding our tone and finding the footing for what Wolf Among Us was going to be. And by the time we shipped it, we didn't expect the response that it got, we're super proud of that. By the time we finished we never anticipated the fans would be wanting so much more, so soon. We rolled on to some other things we had already planned out Tales from the Borderlands, Game of Thrones and Minecraft, but the fans have been vocal and we've been really passionate about it, they've been passionate about it and we're excited to announce both The Wolf Among Us second season and The Walking Dead's final season."

The Wolf Among Us 2 will launch next year.
