After a lengthy preview session with South Park: The Fractured but Whole (catch it here) we sat down with animator Stephanie Dowling to talk about the new RPG and specifically about the staggering animation work that's gone into the title.

"On the first game there was a lot of shared animations between a lot of the characters, which I think fans noticed that and Matt and Trey noticed that as well," said Dowling. "And so on this game, we made a huge effort not to do that. On our last count, it was around 14,000 unique animations in our game alone. What that means is that none of the characters share animation. Every single character in our game has their own set of animations, which means nothing looks the same."
