Back in July, Ubisoft gave us the first details about Ghost Recon: Wildlands' upcoming multiplayer mode, Ghost Wars, and said we'd get to test it "very soon". Well, "very soon" was a bit of a stretch, but at least we're close now.

The studio has announced that there will be an open beta from September 21 through September 25 on both PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This beta will let us try out six of the twelve different classes and five of the eight maps the full version will launch with. You won't even have to own the game either, as the multiplayer beta will be a stand-alone download. It'll also be possible to download the beta on September 19, so you and your friends can go straight to war two days later. Want to entice your friends to join? Why not show them the first trailer below, while also learning more about three of the mode's classes in the second one?

Will you be testing Ghost War?

REVIEW. Written by Matti Isotalo

"There are only a handful of big-budget open-world games with campaign co-op as good as this."
