We know that many PC players weren't too happy about it only being PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners who got to try out the Call of Duty: WWII beta two weeks ago, so let's turn that frown upside down.
Sledgehammer Games has announced that PC players will get to play the beta as well, and this version will be available for everyone. That's right, you won't have to pre-order the game or anything like that. The open beta is scheduled to start September 29 and run through October 2. This means that the only requirements you'll have to meet are the following PC specifications:
Minimum
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit or later
CPU: Intel Core i3 3225 or equivalent
RAM: 8 GB RAM
HDD: 25 GB HD space
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 @ 2 GB / AMD Radeon HD 7850 @ 2GB or better
DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent
This is obviously great news for PC players, but we're willing to bet that console players should take note of this as well. We reckon that PC won't be the only platform that gets an open beta, so stay tuned. And if you missed the first round of public testing, you can head here for some in-depth impressions.
