Rumour: Google ready to buy HTC?

During the last few months, there have been rumours that HTC would sell their smartphone division to Google. HTC has now ordered a halt to trading effective from tomorrow, Thursday 21st of September (Taiwan-time), as they're about to release some major information that is likely to effect their share price. This Twitter announcement came via Tim Culpan, who is a writer for Bloomberg.

This could also mean an agreement has been reached, but it's not necessarily Google who is the buyer, of course. Now we can only wait and see, what the future brings.
