We've seen a few patches that actually make games worse over the years, but something like this takes it to another level.

A whole bunch of PlayStation 4 players are reporting that their consoles keeps crashing and having other problems after downloading the latest Rainbow Six: Siege update.

More specifically, many consoles will crash and restart if you access your friends list while playing Siege. A few players are even claiming that their entire hard drive has been corrupted because of this, so we definitely advise you to not play the game, or at least refrain from accessing your friends list while playing, until the problem has been resolved.

Ubisoft has said that this problem only applies to the PlayStation 4 version and that they're working with Sony to fix it. Hopefully this means that it's been fixed by the time you read this, something you can check here.
