New Picross S drops on Switch next week

Picross is a puzzle series that has appeared on Nintendo's portable platforms since Nintendo introduces the touch controls with the DS family. The first game landed 10 years ago and the series has sold more than half a million copies across the different iterations. But each entry featured the same gameplay: do the math to discover what picture hides behind the grid.

Nintendo Switch is a hybrid console and offers touch controls, so Jupiter Corporation is in once more. The next entry is called Picross S and offers 300 puzzles of four different sizes: 5×5, 10×10, 15×15, and 20×15. Mega Picross mode is also included, along with the normal one. The biggest addition is a new cooperative or competitive mode for two players in which both of you can fill the squares at the same time.

Picross S will be on the Nintendo eShop on September 28 priced at £7.19 (€7.99). Check out the first trailer below.
