TGS 2017 saw 254,311 visitors over four days

Tokyo Game Show organisers CESA has revealed the official visitor stats from this year's Tokyo Game Show at Makuhari Messe outside of Tokyo. A total of 254,311 visitors attended the four days (Sep 21-24), with the first two days only allowing for trade visitors and press. The Saturday was, as is normal, the most visited day with 106,075 visitors. The show attracted 271,224 visitors in 2016 and 268,446 visitors in 2015, so it's a slight decline compared to these record years. Esports was a big theme this year as the show used the tagline "Reality Unlocked".

Next year's Tokyo Game Show will be held at Makuhari Messe between September 20-23.
