Digital Extremes has announced that the upcoming Plains of Eidolon update for Warframe will launch next week for PC, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players getting access to the new update in November.

The update will see players explore vistas with a day and night cycle, where in the day Tenno can engage in missions with as many as 50 other players. In the town you can converse with fishmongers, mask makers, weapon smiths, and more, the latter of which allows you to create modular weapons.

Outside of the town you can explore the Plains and its caves and hillsides, including mini games like spearfishing, all of which is available to players of all skill levels. Once night descends, though, Sentients come out, providing a new challenge for players to face.

The update also includes a number of other features, such as the 34th Warframe called Gara, who uses glass to attack enemies. She also comes with new weapons and equipment, and a reintroduction of the Operator-Warrior Focus Rework 2.0 changes the skill tree to be more focused on combat.

You can watch a highlights trailer for the update down below, but is it something you can see yourself enjoying?
