The first Ni no Kuni was released for Nintendo DS, but it wasn't until Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch launched for PlayStation 3 as an exclusive title that the series got attention in the west. Since then, Ni no Kuni has been released for smartphones as well, and the upcoming Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will be released for PlayStation 4 and PC. As it turns out, though, there might be other formats planned as well, and we're not talking about a Switch version that a lot of people have been speculating about, but Xbox One, a console hardly known for its great Japanese RPGs.
The source of this rumour is the Spanish Amazon which lists Xbox One as one of the formats for the game (regardless if it's true or not, we expect it to be removed sooner rather than later since it hasn't been properly announced).
This might, of course, only be the result of a human mistake, but several games have leaked like this over the years. We also know Phil Spencer has been visiting a lot of Japanese companies lately to improve the Xbox support. Until we know more about this, however, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is only confirmed for PC and PlayStation 4, and launches on January 19 next year.
