"Not a horror game, but more a psychological thriller adventure", is how Tiny Bull Studios' Matteo Lana describes their upcoming VR release Blind. The game puts you in the shoes of a blind girl who uses echolocation to "see" her surroundings. If this sounds familiar it is because it shares this premise with recent release Perception (and to a lesser degree Beyond Eyes).
"The interesting thing is Perception and Blind share the same basic premise: a young girl alone in a house, blind, can use echolocation, and she's got to find her way out", says Lana. "But since Perception is a traditional game and Blind is a VR game it's kind of like they branched out from that idea and became two very different games."
Blind is due out early in 2018 on Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PSVR (PS4).
