Celebrate Halloween with free goodies in Hearthstone

The spooky period is almost upon us and Blizzard have announced exactly what to expect over the next few weeks in the world of Hearthstone.

First up are some free goodies; log in to Hearthstone between 09:00 CET on October 24 and 22:00 CET on October 30 for a free Whispers of the Old Gods pack and arena ticket, then again between 00:01 on October 31 and 22:00 on November 5 for a Knights of the Frozen Throne pack and anoher arena ticket.

Through the same period, players can also try out a brand new game mode; dual class arena. Players can choose from one hero, another hero power, then throughout the draft you'll be given the option of cards from either class, along with the standard neutral choices. Each of the heroes will attend their games in costume too, for added spookiness.

From October 25-29, the tavern brawl is called 'The Headless Horseman Rides'. Players will discover a costume to wear, which features a passive hero power and cards from multiple classes, that players will need to take full advantage of to defeat the infamous Headless Horseman.

To round off the Halloween news, Nemsy Necrofizzle, the new Warlock hero, is now available. Players can obtain Nemsy by partaking in a Fireside Brawl at any registered Fireside Gathering Tavern. The good news is that Nemsy will continue to be available after the Halloween period is over.
