Nintendo has just announced a new Animal Crossing game by the name of Pocket Camp, and this time it'll be Android and iOS devices hosting the colourful fun, bringing many staples of the franchise to mobile devices.

In the game you manage your own campsite and as we've come to expect with Animal Crossing games, we can customise this to make it our own, including things like amenities and furniture. You then progress by helping others and building your campsite, with microtransactions also included, featuring a currency known as Leaf Tickets. Don't worry, though, as you can also earn these in-game, and then spend them on various things.

Pre-registrations for the game are open right now at this link, but in regards to a specific release date, this is still up in the air. To make the wait that bit easier, though, we've included two videos down below, which show you what Pocket Camp is all about, as well as some screens.

Is this something you'll be playing a lot on the go?

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

REVIEW. Written by Clover Harker

"Whilst the mobile version of Animal Crossing has a lot of elements from its predecessors, it fails to provide the same vibe we have come to love and expect."
