Boneloaf's indie brawler Gang Beasts has been in early access for a while now, and when we talked with developer Michael Brown at the Tokyo Game Show recently we asked what's coming up for the game.
"Right now we don't have any of the post-processing in [here's Unity's description of what post-processing is], so adding that adds a lot to the visual fidelity of the gameplay - it looks so much better," he explained. "Hopefully we'll have that in very soon. There's still a bit of polishing to the levels to do, and just lots of little quality-of-life fixes, so the UI, for example, had a massive overhaul recently. Yeah, just stuff like that."
We also asked about a release window for the game, to which Brown responded: "This year, unless anything... hopefully nothing explodes, but this year, yeah."
