Fortnitemares Halloween event arrives to Fortnite

Fortnite has been garnering a lot of attention recently, having received the Horde Bash and Battle Royale modes not too long ago (impressions of which you can read here), and now fans have something else to enjoy in the form of a newly announced event.

The event is called Fortnitemares which, as you may have guessed, is all about Halloween, bringing a brand new zone called Hexsylvania into the game. What does Hexsylvania look like though? Well, as you can imagine, it's pretty creepy, with catacombs, halls of candles, and thick fog aplenty, making the monsters of the game that bit scarier.

The event started yesterday, coinciding with the loss of Horde Bash, but not to fear, as plenty more content is there as a part of this event, including 25 story quests, new creatures, a Pumpkin Head Husk, a Vampire Taker, Spooky Llama, and more, all of which can be seen on the official announcement. Also, for every 1,000 tickets you have, these will automatically be converted into Scavenger Llamas.
