A free demo for Project CARS 2 has just landed on both the PS Store for PS4 (4.66 GB) and Xbox One Store (4.31 GB), so now players can try Slightly Mad Studios' well-received racing simulator starting from today.

The demo is of course very limited in terms of content compared to the 180+ cars and 60 locations of the full game, but still lets you try out three very different racing experiences (Ferrari 488 GT3, Lamborghini Huracan and Formula Renault) at the Red Bull Ring National track.

In a season with Gran Turismo Sport and Forza Motorsport 7 also releasing along Project CARS 2, the demo could be one of the deciding factors for PS4 and Xbox One users looking for some sim-racing this Christmas.
