Ubisoft had today announced that Steep is getting an open beta for Road to the Olympics, and that this beta will be available from tomorrow, November 28, through until December 4, available for all players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

This open beta will feature five challenges from Road to the Olympics and free roam in a select area of the map, set in Japan. Two of the challenges will be in South Korea, these being Downhill and Big Air, while in Japan you'll be able to take on two snowboard and one wingsuit challenge.

Servers will open tomorrow at 17:00 GMT, and the talented individual that comes top of the downhill leaderboard at the end of the beta will be in with the chance of winning a ticket to the Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 in South Korea.

The expansion itself will be available for £26.99, although you can get a Steep Winter Games Edition including the base game and the season pass for £59.99. If you're just after details on the Road to the Olympics, though, check out the trailer down below.

Does this look like a promising expansion?

"The awe-inspiring open world is a technical marvel, and while it's submerged in snow and ice in its entirety, there is still plenty of variation."
