Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 servers will be undergoing maintenance from Thursday, November 30, meaning that players will no longer be able to connect 4:00 pm GMT (17:00 CET), and will automatically be returned to the home screen. The servers should be back to normal at 10:00 pm GMT (23:00 CET) the same day, so plan ahead for the outage.

No reason is given for this maintenance, although we do know that it won't be used to implement new gameplay or an update. Has this put a dent in your gaming plans?

Update: Bungie has now switched days for the maintenance so that it will instead happen on Friday, December 1. The times remain the same and players won't be able to log in from 4:00pm GMT (17:00 CET), with players already on the server scheduled to be kicked off at 5:00pm (18:00). The service will then resume at 10:00pm GMT (23:00 CET).
