There wasn't a ton of movement this week in the UK video game charts as Call of Duty: WWII claims its fifth straight number one (equal to Crash Bandicoot: Nsane Trilogy for most consecutive number ones in 2017). None of the first five games in the all formats standings changed their positions, and we're likely looking at the main challenger for the Christmas crown, maybe it's even a two horse race between Call of Duty: WWII and FIFA 18. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was the only real notable new release and it managed 19th spot, which is in line with what the franchise has done in the past, it was always going to struggle against the big holiday sellers. Perhaps it is also notable that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has snuck back up into the top 10, suggesting it's the first game many new Switch owners are getting.
