We've known about Dreams for some time, with Media Molecule first revealing its creative vision back in 2015. Since then, however, things have been a little quiet from the studio, and while we've been treated to little snippets here and there, at this year's The Game Awards we finally got to see a trailer that shows the true extent of the studio's work.

Anyone familiar with Media Molecule (Little Big Planet) will know that this is a studio that thrives on community creativity, and that's something that is being built around in Dreams. In the trailer below you can see a man sleeping in a guitar case (or is it a coffin?), and the implication looks to be that we need to help improve his dreams through our own creativity.

After that, we see a few glimpses of the kind of experiences that it looks like we're going to be able to build using the provided in-game tools, with space shooter action, pod-like racing, and plenty of platforming. Check it out below and let us know if you're looking forward to building your own creations in Dreams when it lands on PlayStation 4 in 2018.

REVIEW. Written by Mikael Sundberg

"Art's Dream has been developed within Dreams using the same tools as the players are given, and it's phenomenal."
