Bungie has just launched a web comic series for Destiny 2, and what better place to start than with an Osiris and Ikora origin story, called "Fall of Osiris." The comic is written by Eisner-winning, New York Times bestselling writer Ryan North (Dinosaur Comics, Marvel's The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl), and narrative lead on Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris Christine Thompson, while the interior art is made by Zé Carlos and the first cover is created by Marcio Takara (All-New Wolverine).

"Osiris was once the champion of the Last City. Vanguard Commander. Seeker of secrets and discoverer of wonders," the press release explains. "And then everything changed. How did Osiris go from hero to traitor?"

You can check out the comic here, which we think looks pretty darn good. Speaking of Osiris, make sure to check out our review of the Curse of Osiris DLC if you're interested.

Is this web comic something you'll be reading this Christmas?

"It's actually an improvement over the last expansion despite the fact that they feel quite similar."
