Dark Souls: Remastered cross-play rumours quashed
Contrary to earlier reports, players will have to stick to playing with those on the same platform.

After Minecraft and later Rocket League boasted cross-platform play, it was rumoured in some circles that the upcoming Dark Souls: Remastered would also include similar functionality. However, before you get your hopes up, we have to tell you that this isn't going to be the case.
How do we know this? Well, responding to a question put to them by IGN, a rep from Bandai Namco confirmed that the remastered action-RPG "will not have cross-platform play." As you were.
