Wargaming has just announced that World of Warplanes is now in open beta, meaning players can now jump into 15 vs. 15 dogfights featuring aircraft from between the 1930s and the early 1950s.

North America and Russian gamers can jump in now, whereas European gamers will have to wait until July 4 before it's open season.

Victor Kislyi, CEO of Wargaming, said:"We thank every single World of Warplanes player out there, whether they're just getting into the game during open beta or have been with us since the very start. The game has grown and evolved tremendously since we first announced it and I'm confident virtual pilots are going to be extremely excited when they get behind the cockpits of the game's truly amazing warbirds."

New screens and skill trees have been released, and you can see them below. Head this way for more details, or to enlist.

REVIEW. Written by Oskar Nyström

"With time they'll naturally add more planes, upgrades and game modes, but sadly the latter category is rather lacking at this point."
